Koo,
Chanderpaul and Gooding win
Toyota River Raid
Daniel Koo, Chanderpaul Ramnairne, Maria Gooding,
Peter Sellier and Jonathan Paul took the top
positions in the Toyota River Raid mountain
bike races for adults and kids held in at Samaan
Park, Chaguaramas on Sunday.
Koo, 30, riding for Trek, dominated the four-lap
event in a time of 1:03.29 followed by Dr. Allan
Hoyte, 52, in 1:08.30 and Chris Gill, 40, in
1:13.18.6. Gervais Alkins was fourth.
In the two--lap event, Chanderpaul Ramnarine,
19, of Penal Triathletes, was the winner in
32:44 followed by Derek Boris,42, in 34:07 and
Naresh Merigh,18, in 34:33. Maria Gooding,18,
was the first female in 46:14.
In the kids' events, Peter Sellier won the 7-9
category in 8:48 followed by Justin Paul in
9:46 and Zachary Kelshall in 9:58.And in the
10-15 category, Jonathan Paul took the top spot
in 9:40 followed by Ross Navarro in 10:57 and
Sebastian Van Reeken in 10:59.7. Full results
